This item was taken from the IEEE Conference ' On efficiency and power enhancement in 700 GHz BWO ' The possibility of minimization of BWO's power consumption is considered in simulation and experimental ways. It is demonstrated that geometrical optimization of the slow-wave structure and BWO with a depressed collector is able to decrease the power consumption significantly.
