This item was taken from the IEEE Conference ' Mid-infrared interband cascade lasers operating CW at thermoelectric-cooler temperatures ' Mid-infrared interband cascade lasers with 11-�m-wide ridge width and Au electroplating operated cw to 288 K, where the emission wavelength was 4.1 �m. Another device emitted at 5.1 �m and operated cw to 229 K.
