Description

This item was taken from the IEEE Conference ' Silicon modulator based on anti-crossing between paired amplitude and phase tunable microring resonators ' A modulator design based upon anti-crossing between coupled silicon microrings with independent amplitude-phase functionality, is presented. The device has a footprint of 0.003mm2, exhibits over 10x improvement in modulation sensitivity, and 14 dB extinction.
