This item was taken from the IEEE Conference ' Sensitive broadband mid-IR Cr2+:ZnS-laser-based spectrometer ' We report a Cr2+:ZnS laser for broadband ultrasensitive intracavity laser spectroscopy, with effective absorption path up to about 50 km in the 2.4 �m range. The spectrometer operates with both Er-fiber and direct diode pumping.
