Description
This item was taken from the IEEE Conference ' The electron-optic system of peniotron for technological application ' The gyrodevices incorporating the peniotron interaction mechanism are based on the electron-optic systems responsible for shaping the large-orbit electron flow by means of the magnetic field cusp. These systems have recently been utilized in high-power peniotrons and proved to be efficient at a high accelerating voltage of /spl sim/70 kV, but with low electron beam perveance (-3/spl mu/A/V/sup 3/2/). The present report submits the project of the adiabatic electron-optic high-power peniotron system for industrial use(f=915 MHz) which can be operated at /spl sim/10 KV and high electron beam perveance (-3/spl mu/A/V/sup 3/2/).
