This item was taken from the IEEE Periodical ' Nonlinear dynamic maximum power theorem ' The problem of maximizing the energy or average power transfer from a nonlinear dynamic source is considered. The main theorem includes, as special cases, the standard linear result where the load admittance equals the complex conjugate of the source admittance and a recent finding for linear resistive networks. An operator equation for the optimal output voltage is derived, and a numerical method for solving it is given.<>
