This item was taken from the IEEE Conference ' 50 Gbps class transmission in single mode fiber using discrete multi-tone modulation with 10G directly modulated laser ' We have experimentally demonstrated the highest capacity transmission of 73.2Gbps at back-to-back and 52.8Gbps after 20-km SMF transmission without optical amplifiers and dispersion compensation on discrete multi-tone systems with 10G directly modulated 1550-nm lasers.
