This item was taken from the IEEE Conference ' Interfacing single photons from dissimilar sources ' We interface single photons generated by a quantum dot with those generated via parametric down-conversion. The photon indistinguishability is assessed by measuring their coalescence probability; it is 16% and limited by quantum dot decoherence.
