Description
This item was taken from the IEEE Conference ' Limitations of noise figure in InGaAsP quantum-well semiconductor optical amplifiers ' We present the first quantitative investigation of noise figure degradation in InGaAsP quantum-well semiconductor optical amplifiers at high bias. We compare two experimental measurements of population inversion factor for a 1.5-m slab-coupled optical-waveguide amplifier (SCOWA).
