Description
This item was taken from the IEEE Conference ' Effect of surface structural modification on absorptivity of gold in multi-pulse femtosecond laser ablation ' Surface relief topography and surface absorptivity enhancement of a bulk gold sample following multi-pulse femtosecond laser ablation are studied. Peculiarities of the nano-structured surface absorptivity enhancement are explained as a result of both multiple light reflections on produced ramified gold surface and resonant light absorption by coupled nanostructures (wires, spheres, cones).
