Description
This item was taken from the IEEE Conference ' Modeling agile supply chain dynamics: a complex adaptive system perspective ' In much of the current literature on agile supply chain management, the main research methods are top-down modeling, prediction and simulation. While after reviewing the related research around the world, this paper tries to study agile supply chain from the viewpoint of complex adaptive systems. Under the direction of ""adaptation builds complexity"", this paper develop a complex adaptive system model of agile supply chain with the bottom-up method, thus making full use of the self-organization character and adaptation to the rapid change of market environment. A simulation model based on SWARM is proposed, and some related topics are also discussed in this paper.
