This item was taken from the IEEE Conference ' Experimental study of the space-energetic structure and dynamics of a subnanosecond, dense, subrelativistic electron bunch ' An experimental study of the rapid processes associated with the formation and transportation of a 0.3-ns-width electron bunch was performed using the RADAN-303B pulsed-power, 200 kV-driver equipped with a subnanosecond pulse sharpener. The experiments comprised of (i) real-time measurements of electron emission processes across the cold-cathode, (ii) a study of the dynamics of a dense e-bunch being transported along the drift chamber in an axial B-field, and (iii) observation of the variation of the maximum electron energy during the bunch transportation.
