This item was taken from the IEEE Periodical ' NSLS RF System Improvements ' It is required that the NSLS X-ray accelerator reach an energy of 2.5 GeV. An additional accelerating cavity and power amplifier system were installed to meet this goal. A new control system was designed to include phase and amplitude servos as well as computer interfacing. Commissioning and operating experience will be reported.
